The Cook provides wholesome quality foods to patients and for cafeteria meals prepared according to standards and procedures meeting the established specifications. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs. Prior cooking/culinary experience. Demonstrates the ability to follow directions and adhere to a recipe. Learns quickly and adapts to changing patient needs. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in cooking/culinary in a high volume, full service kitchen setting.
