Senior Accountant
LHH Recruitment Solutions is proud to partner with a well-established organization in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their experienced and collaborative finance team.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit year-end audit requests and support external audit processes
- Perform monthly sales reconciliations and assist with month-end close activities
- Execute daily and monthly bank reconciliations
- Record month-end accruals and journal entries
- Administer monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy
- Reconcile and post prepaid marketing and other general ledger entries
- Manage EDI cash applications and ensure timely, accurate processing
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable on 3rd-party manufacturing settlements, debit/credit note settlements, PPV, and inventory transit adjustments
- Reconcile AP/AR accounts, including AP Trade and RBNI
- Process G&A allocation entries, interest accruals, and POS display transactions
- Assist with state tax registrations, payments, and process improvements
- Support CapEx/CIP activities, including monthly reconciliations and quarterly asset launches
- Contribute to tax provision entries and coordinate with external tax partners
- Monitor and update D&B profiles to maintain optimal business ratings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 35+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Experience in the CPG industry is a strong plus
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP experience preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
