Sr. Data Scientist
Our client is looking for a Sr. Data Scientist to join their team in Tempe, AZ or Charlotte, NC. As the Sr. Data Scientist, you will collaborate with North America Marketing teams to support various campaign types (ex: TV, radio, print, digital media, etc.) to collect and integrate data from external vendors, internal partners, and campaign platforms to build a unified view of marketing performance. Responsibilities are shown below: Develop and maintain predictive models to analyze: Budget allocation across channels Conversion rates and ROI Revenue and traffic lift by campaign type and business unit Conduct channel effectiveness analysis to identify which marketing channels drive the highest impact. Perform data cleaning, transformation, and exploratory analysis using tools like Databricks, PySpark, and SQL. Store and manage campaign datasets in Delta Lakes for easy access and long-term analysis. Create and deliver Power BI dashboards to visualize campaign performance, KPIs, and insights for leadership and stakeholders. Partner with marketing teams to share insights, recommend optimizations, and support strategic decision-making. Develop communication mediums (dashboards, reports, presentations) to translate complex analytics into actionable business insights. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) when handling customer and campaign data. Skills and Requirements: Must be comfortable working onsite 5 days per week 5+ years of experience working as a Data Scientist, specifically working on Marketing Data 5+ years of experience working with Python for data modeling Experience with Medium Mix Modeling to evaluate effectiveness of different marketing channels Fantastic verbal and writing communication skills Experience supporting a Global organization Experience working with SQL Experience working with Databricks, specifically building pipelines, querying and processing tables, etc. Experience with Power BI, specifically to build joins, aggregated files, etc. Experience working in a retail environment
