Under general supervision from the Human Resource Manager, the incumbent will support all facets of human resources for the plant focusing primarily on hourly staffing and recruiting, employee relations, labor relations and human resources policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage frontline hourly employee full cycle recruitment process, which includes:

Partnering with Operations leaders to identify available openings

Posting open positions on job boards

Reviewing applicants

Scheduling and participating in interviews

Conducting phone interviews

Preparing offers

Coaches managers on candidate interviewing and selection. Analyzes job requirements making recommendation of final selection

Track candidate metrics and data to develop insights and recruiting action plans to increase effectiveness

Follows through on all resumes and applications received for open positions to ensure that proper correspondence is sent to applicants

Maintains applicant database

Performs new employee orientation to foster positive outlook toward plant and company goals

Supports company diversity and inclusion objectives, activities and initiatives

Provides Human Resource support in areas such as job code management, staffing, employee relations, labor relations, training/development and other related areas

Supports a high-performance culture and increases employee engagement

Other duties as assigned to support divisional and corporate-wide HR initiatives

Responsible for weekly time keeping and payroll processing

Print and audit reports as necessary

Lead employee relations issues and internal investigation with plant management to affect prompt and appropriate resolution related to all employee complaint

Administer company policies and helps to ensure alignment and consistent application of policies

Aids employees and supervisors in solving work-related problems

Evaluates the issue and meets with supervisors to determine effective remediation techniques, such as job skills training or personal intervention, to resolve human relations issues

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field preferred

PHR certification preferred

3 years of Human Resources experience; previous experience in a manufacturing environment a plus

2 years of recruitment experience sourcing candidates for roles in the manufacturing industry

2 years of experience working with applicant tracking systems (SuccessFactors preferred)

KEY SKILLS:

Prior experiences must demonstrate initiative, strong problem-solving skills, success managing multiple priorities, and working well in a team under deadline pressure

Experience utilizing key metrics to optimize the internal and external recruiting processes

Experience generating candidates from a variety of channels including applicant tracking systems, job boards, and LinkedIn Recruiter
