Overview

The Project Engineer II is responsible for leading design efforts, overseeing the preparation of technical drawings and calculations, and mentoring junior staff. This role involves managing complex design tasks and ensuring the successful delivery of engineering solutions. The Project Engineer II works closely with senior engineers and project managers to ensure that designs meet both client expectations and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities

Lead the development of detailed engineering designs for complex projects, ensuring that designs meet technical, regulatory, and client requirements. Prepare and review technical drawings, models, calculations, and specifications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project goals and standards. Use advanced design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks) to develop detailed models and construction documents that integrate structural, mechanical, and environmental systems. Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers, helping them develop their technical skills and knowledge. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure the seamless integration of building systems and the successful execution of designs. Conduct quality control reviews of project deliverables, ensuring that all designs meet internal and external standards for accuracy and technical precision. Serve as a key technical resource for project teams, providing leadership in resolving design challenges and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Participate in client meetings and presentations, effectively communicating design concepts and updates to ensure client satisfaction. Secondary Responsibilities
