Overview
Product Data Management Specialist (Associate or Mid-Level) Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) in Renton, Washington. This role supports Airplane Certification - Eligibility (AC-E) as part of the Airplane Package Manager (APM) team. Primary work involves generation and validation of the Airplane Change Project List through change classification form audits, Major-Minor Summary Reports (MMSRs), certification plans (CPs), and other general certification support linked to AC-E. Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills are essential. Position Responsibilities Defines, documents, and interprets product requirements relevant to certification, configuration, data, and data management & engineering processes Develops, documents, and implements plans and processes to ensure products meet technical, regulatory, and company requirements and to maintain configuration control Tracks and reports data to monitor adherence to regulatory, data configuration, and contractual requirements; supports audits and reviews to ensure products meet requirements Assists with development of certification plans, integrated process architecture infrastructures, process models, product structure definitions, and/or data requirements/data management processes Collaborates with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and other engineering disciplines to ensure timely completion of everything necessary for engineering book complete (EBC) Runs Major/Minor Summary Reports (MMSR) at various intervals (90/60/30 days prior to rollout and ad hoc as needed) Manages list of changes to type design and associated action items for assigned airplanes Provides the final Airplane Change Project List (ACPL) to the airplane certification package
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
3+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills Experience with data/file management Experience in MS Excel and manipulating data tables and formulas
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
5+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Project management skills Experience in MS Access/VBA Experience in Configuration/Change Management Experience with certification process Experience with Design Change Classification System (DCCS) Experience with Lean Certification System (LCS) Experience with Engineering Definition Systems Experience working on commercial aircraft programs
Additional Details
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at Renton, Washington. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay ranges: Associate (Level 2): $68,000 - $92,000; Mid-Level (Level 3): $85,000 - $115,000. Eligibility and Other Requirements
