Functional Position Title: PHYSICAL SECURITY SYSTEMS ANALYST OR SENIOR Position Number: 00059306 Appointment Type: Regular Location-City: New Orleans School/Division: AUXILIARY ENTERPRISES Department: Microsystems Position Summary

The Physical Security Systems Analyst contributes to the design, deployment, maintenance, and management of security systems on LSUHSC campuses. This includes, but is not limited to, card access, video surveillance, visitor management, license plate recognition, server maintenance, end user support, and analytics. Incumbent will also be required to perform all necessary tasks associated with installing, maintaining, and repairing network cabling infrastructure, dormitory locks, and computers. The position will also require operation of a state vehicle. This position will require lifting and moving heavy objects and involve walking, climbing, and some crawling and kneeling. Incumbent must be able to interact with LSUHSC employees and vendors in a friendly, professional manner. This auxiliary operation is a self supporting service unit that provides essential services to enhance the academic and administrative experience for students, faculty, staff and visitors to campus. Minimum Qualifications

Required Education Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field. Discipline(s)

Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field. Certifications/Licenses Required Three or 5 for the senior level experience; indicates level requirement. Indicate the type of experience required to do the job Experience in physical security operations, system administration, structured cabling, and management of projects. Substitution Degree in another field will be considered with extensive physical security experience. Preferred Qualifications

Certifications/Licenses Preferred ASIS CPP and PSP Indicate the preferred experience to perform the job 5 years experience in physical security operations, system administration, project management, and structured cabling. Posting Information
