Windows Debugging Specialist - Systems Analyst
NTT DATA's client is seeking a Windows Debugging Specialist - Systems Analyst. Required skills include: minimum of three years of verified experience in deskside or IT support roles, proven experience in Windows OS troubleshooting and debugging, strong understanding of hardware components, peripherals, and basic networking, excellent customer service and communication skills, organized with ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively, high school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT preferred), advanced Windows debugging using tools like WinDbg, Event Viewer, and Performance Monitor, strong understanding of the Windows Registry, including structure, key paths, and safe editing for troubleshooting and configuration, experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and user profile management, proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and diagnostics, familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira), ability to perform root cause analysis and document findings clearly, strong knowledge of endpoint security, antivirus, and patch management. Desired skills include: certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or equivalent, experience supporting remote users and using remote desktop tools (e.g., SCCM, RDP, TeamViewer), exposure to macOS or Linux environments is a plus, knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and basic troubleshooting, experience in enterprise environments with large-scale deployments, familiarity with ITIL practices and change management processes. Responsibilities include: providing deskside support for hardware, software, and peripheral issues, performing advanced Windows debugging and resolving complex OS-level issues, collaborating with other IT teams to escalate and resolve incidents, maintaining accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and procedures, assisting in system upgrades, migrations, and deployments, ensuring compliance with IT policies and security standards.
