Job Summary This position is responsible for the management and marketing of Expand's Appalachian liquids marketing portfolio (Purity NGLs + Condensate). Priorities include value creation, flow assurance, identifying & evaluating potential new opportunities, communicating with leadership, and efficiently managing a team of individuals working towards the same goals.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Directly manages a team of marketing professionals to facilitate the sale, maximum flow assurance, and peer leading netback pricing on a book of ~125,000 bpd of condensate and purity NGLs
Proactively seeks out opportunities to generate additional value from optimizing assets and the company's transportation portfolio with equity production or third party purchases
Coordinates between various disciplines/business units and Marketing. Must possess the ability to bridge technical and market based learning gaps conveying critical marketing concepts to groups with different backgrounds
Performs comprehensive assessments of regionalized crude & purity NGL Markets including the availability of transportation capacity, relative netback values and liquidity of markets
Prepares and presents executive level presentation material achieving transparency on all market conditions
Develops marketing plans/strategies, contacts 3rd party transporters/midstream service providers to confirm market assessments and facilitate ongoing business
Evaluates business system requirements and makes recommendations to Sr. Management on necessary tools as well assisting in system implementations
Builds, develops, and maintains commercial relationships with midstream transporters, buyers, sellers, and midstream solution providers
Manages internal processes in an organized fashion, such as but not limited to contracting, credit, indemnity/safety training, counterparty setup, and transaction system integration
Job Specific Skills
Comprehensive understanding of the North American oil and purity NGL products marketplace with working knowledge of all aspects of Southwest Appalachia oil and Ngl markets and infrastructure. Ideal candidate also has a basic understanding of North American Natural Gas market
Ability to understand and explain basic processing/fractionation calculations to enable accurate review of processing statements, and to monitor NGL "available for sale" process & imbalances
Strong leadership skills and ability to directly manage/supervise a team of marketers
Motivated individual who seeks to initiate commercial opportunities, able to take the lead in commercial negotiations, and makes valuable use of work time
Comfortable making specific recommendations to executive level audience based on sound reasoning and factual support
Strong economic evaluation, financial, and analytical skills
Concise reporting skills
Ability to multi-task, while staying focused and aligned with team and corporate goals
Creativity in problem solving
Able to build relationships and is excellent in communicating
Good presentation and technical writing skills
Education Minimum: Bachelor's degree - from accredited university - Energy Marketing, Marketing, Finance or related field
Experience Minimum: 8 - 12 years related work experience
Additional Qualifications Industry experience in oil and purity NGL Marketing, preferred
