The Project Manager / Sr. Associate, Supplier Performance Analytics & Digital Enablement plays a critical role in advancing R&D Supplier Management and Performance Analytics (SMPA). This role focuses on leveraging data, automation, and process innovation to optimize supplier management, enhance operational workflows, and support informed decision-making.

Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, this manager will develop digital tools, track supplier performance metrics, and drive efficiency through AI and automation initiatives. It is a hands-on role: part technical innovator, part process optimizer, and part project coordinator - with a clear mandate to deliver measurable improvements in supplier oversight and business outcomes.

Strategic Impact

Enable digital optimization in supplier management from onboarding through performance monitoring. Apply AI and automation to improve process speed, accuracy, and decision-making. Lead initiatives to enhance supplier relationship management, tracking, and reporting workflows. Success Metrics (What Good Looks Like)

Reduction in manual supplier management tasks through automation. Improved accuracy and timeliness of supplier performance reporting. Adoption of new dashboards/visualization tools by stakeholders. Measurable efficiency gains in supplier oversight workflows. Expansion of SMPA digital support model to additional functions. Key Responsibilities

Digital & Data Enablement

Develop, maintain, and enhance supplier performance dashboards and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Implement automation and AI-driven solutions to streamline supplier workflows and reporting. Ensure strong data governance, organization, and accessibility across SMPA repositories. Analyze supplier data and process flows to identify trends and optimization opportunities. Supplier Performance & Project Support

Define and track key supplier performance metrics (KPIs) for quality, compliance, and improvement. Partner with Sr. Manager, SMPA to expand the support model across functions and supplier groups. Coordinate supplier-related project tasks, deliverables, and timelines. Deliver actionable insights that improve efficiency, decision-making, and supplier relationships. Process Innovation & Collaboration

Lead efforts to improve supplier oversight workflows through digital optimization and automation. Identify and implement process improvements that reduce manual work and increase efficiency. Document workflows, automation logic, and data models for knowledge transfer and enhancement. Build strong cross-functional partnerships, aligning support to evolving business needs. Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field. Proven experience in data management, visualization, and analytics. Demonstrated ability to deliver automation and AI-enabled solutions. Strong organizational and project management skills. Familiarity with process optimization methodologies. Proficiency with visualization and collaboration tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SharePoint, Teams). Preferred Skills

Knowledge of supplier management practices in R&D, pharma, or biotech. Experience with supplier performance tracking and compliance metrics. Background in process transformation or digital enablement initiatives.
