Human Resources Generalist
Assists, coordinates, and administers various aspects of the organization's compensation and benefit, recruitment, training, organizational development, and employee relations programs.
Essential Functions
- Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all employees; assists in developing and implementing policies; maintains employee handbook and policies manual.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Plans, organizes, and controls departmental activities; participates in setting goals and objectives.
- Administers compensation and performance evaluation programs; provides guidance on performance management.
- Handles benefits administration, including claims resolution and communication of benefit information to employees.
- Implements and revises job descriptions, conducts salary surveys, and develops merit pools.
- Ensures legal compliance and partners with legal department as needed.
- Conducts recruitment for various employee types and new-employee orientations.
- Provides employee relations counseling and exit interviews.
- Evaluates departmental reports and recommends improvements.
- Provides training on department systems and procedures.
- Supervises receptionist and oversees front desk coverage.
- Coordinates staff events within budget.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 years experience in a similar manufacturing environment
- 2 years experience in the role
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4 years experience in a similar environment
- 4 years experience in the role
- 2 years managing people/projects

Education
- Minimum and preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field
Certification/License
- Preferred: PHR/SPHR
