We are a leading cold storage and distribution facility serving the Miami area, dedicated to providing efficient, high-quality service to our clients. We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Supervisor to join our team and help support a safe, productive, and employee-focused workplace.
Position Summary
The HR Supervisor will oversee day-to-day human resources operations, providing leadership in areas such as employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, compliance, payroll coordination, and training. The ideal candidate will be bilingual (English/Spanish) to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce and will have prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage the full-cycle hiring process, including job postings, interviews, offers, and orientation for new employees.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and conflict resolution, fostering a positive and compliant work environment.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as company policies and safety regulations specific to cold storage and warehouse operations.
- Payroll & Benefits Support: Coordinate payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and timely processing in collaboration with the payroll team.
- Performance Management: Support supervisors in evaluating performance, addressing issues, and facilitating coaching or disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Training & Development: Organize safety training, compliance workshops, and skill-building sessions to enhance employee performance and workplace safety.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate employee records and prepare regular reports for management on HR metrics such as turnover, attendance, and staffing needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of HR experience, ideally in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
