Overview
We are hiring for our Human Resources team at Mary & Elizabeth.
Location: Mary & Elizabeth Hospital, 1850 Bluegrass Ave., Louisville, KY 40215
Shift: Day shift - Monday to Friday, 6:00 am - 2:00 pm

Job Summary
Under the direction of the Benefits Manager, support internal HR functions by completing data entry for new hires, transfers, benefit changes, and compliance-related activities. Assist in educating new employees about HR policies and programs. Manage various HR processes and interact with HR peers, managers, and employees. Perform general office support and serve as the first point of contact for HR inquiries, forwarding or escalating concerns as appropriate.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to all employee calls and emails, providing exceptional service and routing inquiries appropriately.
- Provide accurate information regarding HR policies and procedures via phone and email.
- Assist with administrative tasks for the HR team.
- Maintain compliance tracking for I-9s, certifications, licensing, introductory evaluations (30, 60, 90 days), and job abandonment notices.
Additional Functions
- Stay informed on HR trends, best practices, and regulations.
- Guide employees on benefit and policy questions.
- Assist in benefit communication and information dissemination.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA privacy and security requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Required Education: High school diploma or GED/equivalent.
- Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
- Preferred Experience: One (1) year of relevant HR experience.
