Responsibilities

• The Fraud Technology team is looking for a mid-level Business Analyst.
• Requirements include 5-8 years of technical experience (preferably in the financial industry), with a minimum of 4 years of experience with the agile methodology.
• The Business Analyst is responsible for learning and speaking to the technical components and systems in order to drive project delivery for multiple concurrent projects by capturing and supporting delivery of business and/or system requirements to accomplish business goals.
• Key responsibilities include working with stakeholders to understand their needs, capture their requirements, perform impact analysis, and then working closely with multiple Development Teams to refine the requirements into specifications that can be executed by the team.
• Individuals in this role need to work independently to quickly gain a working knowledge of the business/technical domain and the main applications within that domain.
• This role is also responsible for working across different development teams to manage releases into different environments, including production.
• Candidates will be responsible for ensuring there is a full traceability from requirements to implementation to testing to production releases and post-production validation.
• Candidates must have excellent communication and inter-personal skills to engage and influence teams across multiple organizations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a technology delivery team as a Business Analyst and/or Project Manager.
• 5+ years as a Business Analyst driving a minimum of five concurrent technology deliverable projects of varying sizes.
• Experience delivering systems/applications in an Agile environment, including various Agile ceremonies such as PI planning and retrospectives.
• Proven problem-solver who can drive interaction with resources and work independently to research and resolve issues.
• Self-starter, able to work independently, with a willingness to learn and ask questions of business or technology partners.

Qualifications (continued)

• Hands-on experience delivering technical solutions, including end-to-end project deliveries from requirement gathering through testing.
• Experience with requirements gathering into Business Requirements Documents, wireframes, epic and story writing, flow diagrams, data mapping, test plans, use cases and scenarios.
• Experience providing subject matter expertise within the technical domain to support scope and requirement decisions.
• Experience with agile development teams: developers, scrum masters, analysts, product owners, testers.
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, SharePoint, WIKI, ALM for requirements and SDLC, knowledge sharing and documentation of requirements, and issue tracking.
• Strong communication skills.

Skills

• Financial Services/Banking industry experience a plus
• Fraud Detection, Prevention, Servicing, and/or Claims experience is a plus
• Previous Development experience is a plus
• Previous Bank of America experience a plus
