Job Purpose
The primary objective of the Business Analyst is to assist the organization in making data driven marketing decisions. Research market situations to identify business trends and assess improvement needs. Gather pertinent information on sales, customers, competitors, prices, and distribution channels to assist in the development of sales and global marketing strategies. Partner with key stakeholders across the business and manage data-based projects. The position will act in accordance with the Group’s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as policies, guidelines and international standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, and HSE standards.
Responsibilities
- Sales Support and Analysis
- Work with key commercial stakeholders on core projects and activities
- Focal point & Key user for CRM system – provide support to team, improving internal communication and information sharing
- Provide any needed analysis of customers, organizations, and competitors along the value chains
- Collect customer and market information through principal research methods
- Support in analyzing and reporting monthly performance Key Accounts to all stakeholders
- Support with the organization of sales meetings and AFPM
- Support Sales Managers and Directors in daily business, including being the central NOAM back up person for the regional sales managers
- Review pricing and cost components to identify leakages, margin improvement opportunities and implement countermeasures
- Provide granularity analysis on the products; implement countermeasures and tactics to improve Variable Margin and EBITDA
- Provide regular support to the business line departments for pricing decisions
- Perform other job duties as assigned
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Marketing, Business, or Finance. MBA is preferred.
Background And Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ work experience in Finance, Marketing, Sales, or Supply Chain in the petrochemical field

- Knowledge of business principles involved in marketing planning
