Overview
Akkodis is seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst local to the Kearny Mesa Area in San Diego, CA. This role will work closely with enterprise stakeholders, Business Process Leads, and Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to support both new initiatives and enhancements to existing Salesforce solutions. You’ll be responsible for gathering and refining business requirements, developing functional designs, and helping bring Salesforce-based solutions from concept to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage directly with stakeholders and Enterprise Business Process Leads to gather and understand business requirements for upcoming and existing projects.
- Partner closely with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to support key initiatives, offering business analysis and Salesforce expertise.
- Take ownership of projects that have been initially scoped at a high level and drive the creation of functional designs and Salesforce proof-of-concepts.
- Develop detailed documentation including functional specifications, proposals, and technical design from a functional perspective.
- Collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable, high-quality Salesforce solutions.
- Facilitate and support UAT, ensuring business users validate and approve final implementations.
- Contribute to Organizational Change Management (OCM) efforts alongside the CSM to ensure smooth adoption of new processes or tools.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst working within Salesforce environments, ideally in customer-facing or enterprise settings.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or custom solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to create high-quality documentation including business requirements, functional specs, and user stories.
- Experience working with technical teams to deliver solutions and conducting user testing.
- Exposure to or involvement in OCM activities is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Business Analyst, or Consultant certifications)
- Experience with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies
- Familiarity with Salesforce platform tools such as Flow, Reports/Dashboards, or Lightning Components
