About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its community-based nonprofit organization, which is dedicated to the protection and conservation of local natural and agricultural resources. The successful candidate will be a visionary, strategic, and mission-driven leader with a passion for conservation and preservation. Responsibilities include overseeing the organization's operations, managing finances, and working with a multi-disciplinary professional staff and a diverse board. The Executive Director will be expected to significantly increase marketing and development efforts, refine the organization's growth strategy, and expand its geographic boundaries through partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years' senior leadership experience, a strong background in land trusts or conservation, and a proven track record in fundraising and revenue generation.
