About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with a minimum of 10 years' of senior leadership experience in chamber, economic development, DMO, or community development organizations. The successful candidate will be a bold, visionary leader with a strong record in board relations, fundraising, financial oversight, and stakeholder engagement. A passion for community and the ability to build trust, credibility, and momentum are essential. The CEO will be responsible for overseeing and aligning the efforts of multiple organizations, making this a rare opportunity to lead a nationally recognized model for integrated community, economic, tourism, and downtown development.

Key qualifications for the role include a Bachelor’s degree (advanced degrees and industry certifications are strongly preferred), a proven track record of leadership across economic development, chamber operations, tourism promotion, and urban revitalization, and experience in managing complex, revenue-generating organizations. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator, a media-savvy community ambassador, and a passionate advocate for inclusive growth. The role demands a high-energy catalyst who is a strategic, politically astute executive, capable of leading the organization into its next era of innovation and impact. The CEO will be expected to build high-performance teams and cultivate strong public-private partnerships, and experience in these areas is considered essential.
