About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its mission of providing integrated student supports and ensuring that every student, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to succeed. The CEO will be responsible for strategic leadership, vision, and the execution of a bold strategic plan to expand the organization's impact. This includes driving organizational growth, maintaining a culture of excellence and equity, and serving as the primary fundraiser and external ambassador. The successful candidate will be a visionary leader with a proven track record in fundraising, a strategic thinker, and a skilled relationship builder, particularly within the education, government, and philanthropic sectors.
Key responsibilities for the CEO include resource development, organizational and financial stewardship, community engagement, and advocacy. The role requires a deep commitment to educational equity, an understanding of systemic barriers affecting students, and the ability to strengthen partnerships with school districts, government leaders, and community organizations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and a minimum of 7-10 years of senior leadership experience in a nonprofit, education, or mission-driven organization. They should be a strong people leader, capable of developing and retaining a high-performing team, and have a background in strategic planning, expansion, and financial management. The CEO will also be expected to work closely with the Board of Directors, ensuring transparent and effective communication, and alignment on strategy, governance, and fundraising efforts.
