About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its national advocacy efforts in support of individuals and families affected by problem gambling. The successful candidate will be a strategic, innovative, and financially savvy leader, responsible for refining and delivering the organization's strategic plan, driving its business model, and ensuring its continued leadership in the field. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include serving as a key spokesperson, building and maintaining strategic partnerships, and overseeing the development of high-impact programs and resources. The role also involves proactively addressing emerging issues, championing evidence-based practices, and ensuring operational excellence and financial stewardship. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' senior management experience, a deep understanding of behavioral health and nonprofit management, and a proven track record in fundraising and driving mission-related revenue streams.

The Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Directors to set a bold and visionary path for the organization, with a focus on enhancing public awareness, collaboration, and trust. Success factors for the role include an evolving business model, enhanced alignment with affiliates and other constituents, and a public awareness strategy that increases the visibility of the organization's impact. The role requires a leader with high emotional intelligence, mentorship abilities, and a servant-leader approach, who can foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and inclusiveness.
