About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Outreach and Emergency Programs to lead and steer the operations of emergency shelter and street outreach programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for aligning and leading the work of these programs in accordance with the company's mission, vision, and strategic plans. This role involves strategic planning, program development, and continuous evaluation to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to unsheltered clients. The Vice President will also be tasked with managing program budgets, ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual expectations, and maintaining relationships with state and local funders and community stakeholders.
Applicants for the Vice President position should have a proven track record in emergency services leadership, personnel management, and a strong background in trauma-informed care. The role requires the ability to build and manage relationships with government agencies and external partners, as well as a deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals experiencing homelessness, including mental health and substance abuse issues.
