Position: Hospitalist West Virginia University Medicine is seeking multiple Hospitalists for West Virginia.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive inpatient clinical care to patients with diseases and injuries of the human internal organ system.
Establish preventive health practices for patients.
Provide 24-hour call coverage, including rounding on admitted patients, including in the nursery.
Support the Emergency Department by providing consultative services and admissions to unassigned patients.
Provide coverage to community pediatricians as requested, with appropriate notice and sign-out.
Qualifications:
M.D. or D.O. degree or foreign equivalent.
Completed residency in Pediatrics or Family Medicine.
West Virginia Medical License eligible.
Board eligibility in Family Medicine or Pediatrics.
All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
