Located in downtown Salt Lake City, the Zions Bank Building serves as a headquarters and offers an environment with convenient access to City Creek Center, transit, and employee amenities.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth, expand market share, and lead a high-performance sales culture.
  • Help set the vision, strategy, and execution plan for business development across target markets by developing and executing a comprehensive commercial banking sales and business development strategy across Commercial and Corporate Banking.
  • Establish sales goals, KPIs, and performance metrics.
  • Develop regular training programs to strengthen sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Lead monthly calls and annual conferences to align strategy, foster team culture and reinforce desired sales behaviors.
  • Work with leadership and Relationship Managers to manage and analyze pipeline data, providing regular reporting.
  • Oversee strategic prospecting initiatives, including LinkedIn social selling, referral strategies and competitive intelligence gathering.
  • Drive identification and usage of AI-powered sales enablement tools to enhance prospecting, business development, client intelligence and productivity.
  • Drive adoption and mastery of sales tools such as Salesforce, RelPro, Seismic, IBIS, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other digital prospecting platforms; train bankers on effective use for lead generation, competitive research, call prep and outreach.
  • Collaborate with internal partners (TM, Capital Markets, Private Banking, Wealth, Marketing, and others).
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years of commercial banking or financial services experience with a track record in business development and sales leadership.
  • Proven ability to lead teams to exceed revenue targets in competitive markets.
  • Creativity and resourcefulness in decision making and problem solving.
  • Expert knowledge of commercial lending and lending policies and procedures.
  • Experience in sales coaching with demonstrated success as a sales leader and coach.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in CRM, AI, and sales analytical tools.
  • Ability to set and meet long-term goals and maintain high-quality work standards.
