Job description

The Assistant Credit Manager will be responsible for working daily with our collectors and credit analysts to evaluate the creditworthiness of potential customers, reviewing current accounts when warranted, ensuring prompt collection of receivables and working with the sales team on new jobs and resolving disputes.

The successful candidate should have extensive experience with credit analysis, proficiency with accounting software, and high-level analytical skills.

Duties/Responsibilities Working with the Credit Manager to enforce the credit policies of the company Oversight of collection efforts and credit evaluation Negotiating payment plans with delinquent accounts Dispute resolution Training new collectors and credit analysts Daily and monthly reporting Job management Education & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, finance, or a similar field. Proven work experience as a credit manager or assistant credit manager (5 years preferred) Training & development and Alternative dispute resolution (1 year Preferred) Alternative dispute resolution (1 year Preferred) Advanced knowledge of accounting software Knowledge of construction industry Advanced mathematical skills Excellent analytical skills Good communication skills Good interpersonal skills Detail orientated Ability to deal with stressful situations Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times. Schedule

8-hour shift Full-Time Monday through Friday On-Site Schedule is based on business needs Salary Expectations

$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Starting Salary Based on Experience
