Description The Vice President for Student Success & Enrollment Management serves as the College's Chief Student Affairs Officer & advocate for student needs and concerns. Provides leadership to ensure the college offers a comprehensive array of student services and student engagement programs, with a focus on initiatives that promote student access, persistence, and success. These include Admissions & Advising, Athletics, Financial Aid, First-Year Programs, Job Development & Cooperative Education, Registration, Student Access & Belonging, Student Life & Engagement, TRiO. Administers division resources, including development and monitoring of annual area budgets. Serves as co-coordinator of the college's enrollment management plan and ensures alignment between division plans, goals and objectives, and the college's Strategic Plan. Supervises the college's chief student disciplinary officer.

Examples of Duties ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES Strategic Vision Develop and enhance programs to address emerging student needs, thereby boosting enrollment, retention, and completion rates Recommend, develop and implement student affairs policies, procedures and practices that support and enhance student success Oversee enrollment management efforts to create and implement a comprehensive enrollment management plan through cross-divisional collaboration within the Strategic Enrollment Management framework Contribute, with Workforce & Academic Programs, the Board of Trustees subcommittee on student success and academic programs Supervision
Provide leadership for division departments, including Admissions & Advising, Athletics, Financial Aid, First-Year Programs, Job Development & Cooperative Education, Registration, Student Access & Belonging, Student Life & Engagement, TRiO Administer Student Services budgets in all areas noted above Collaborate with division staff and the Grants Office to identify external funding sources and support the development of suitable proposals. Manage collaboration between the Offices of Constituent Engagement and Events, the Registrar's Office, and the Commencement Committee to plan, organize, and execute the annual Commencement ceremony Assessment & Problem Solving
Lead efforts to evaluate relevant data and uphold quality in all aspects of the college's student services programs, fostering a student-first culture focused on continuous improvement Identify, analyze, and develop creative solutions for division challenges Engage in the development and implementation of emergency response plans Collaboration & Communication
Encourage a culture of collegiality, employee engagement and shared governance within the division Collaborate with other college departments, faculty, and staff to foster a seamless student experience Build community relationships, represent the college at external events, and work effectively with a diverse population, working toward an inclusive campus environment Engage actively with statewide affinity group(s) and related national group
Qualifications Master's degree in student services discipline, or related field, a doctorate is preferred;
3 three years' academic administration experience with a preference at dean level or higher; excellent interpersonal communication and demonstrated cooperation and collaboration skills; commitment to data-based decision making and holistic student-support strategies; knowledge of best practices in enrollment management and relevant laws and regulations. Project manager and consensus builder, ability to manage budgets and interact with both internal and external constituents for student benefit. Community College experience preferred.
Physical Requirements • Most of the job is sedentary, however, occasional periods of light work may be required; • Lifting up to approximately 35 lbs. occasionally. • The worker may be exposed to primarily to inside office conditions. • Visual acuity appropriate for an administrative position, • Hearing, grasping, pushing, pulling, lifting, reaching - occasionally, • Climbing stairs - occasionally, • Walking, frequently, • Occasional travel may be required
