Major Global Organisation is seeking an experienced Software Engineer for a role based in Singapore, supporting a high-impact initiative within the Quant space. This is a high-impact role offering autonomy, ownership, and the opportunity to contribute to a full-stack Python and React platform used for data ingestion, analytics, and distributed computation. The Position: Support and develop backend systems in Python with TDD practices Contribute to frontend features using React Improve legacy codebases and propose scalable architecture changes Work on distributed compute systems and data pipelines Collaborate across infrastructure, analytics, and application teams The Candidate: 5–7 years of relevant software development experience Proficient in Python, with strong understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) Solid experience with React for frontend development Comfortable with SQL and handling data flows Has a growth mindset, demonstrates initiative, and communicates ideas effectively Enjoys autonomy and thrives in collaborative, process-driven environments Interest in finance, particularly Quant or Investment domains Preferred Qualifications Exposure to Kubernetes and Docker Experience working with PySpark or distributed compute environments Familiarity with Airflow or workflow orchestration tools Mindset for improving legacy systems and proposing scalable architecture Strong team player who contributes to technical discussions and knowledge sharing We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified / contacted.
