This is a remote role with limited travel required.
Position Summary
The Area Director of Revenue Management is responsible for driving total hotel revenue and profitability through strategic rate, inventory, and reservations management. This leader will oversee forecasting, pricing, group inventory strategy, and digital distribution while ensuring operational efficiency, service excellence, and maximized occupancy across multiple properties.
Key Responsibilities
Maximize RevPAR through accurate forecasting and targeted selling strategies across all segments. Conduct price and product analysis to maintain competitive rate positioning. Partner with Sales and Revenue teams on group pricing, ceilings, and strategic initiatives. Lead weekly yield meetings and develop effective seasonal strategies. Monitor all distribution channels to ensure competitiveness, parity, and availability. Maintain and analyze STAR reports, performance metrics, and segment mix. Deliver precise short- and long-term forecasts by segment. Ensure system compliance with accurate rate configuration in PMS and RMS. Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports across revenue channels. Oversee group inventory management, including room block setup, pickup tracking, cutoff dates, and rate adjustments in coordination with Sales. Communicate occupancy trends, promotions, and operational updates to property leadership. Support occupancy forecasting and booking pace reporting. Provide oversight for 3-4 properties within the portfolio. Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in hospitality revenue management. Proven success in a revenue leadership role with responsibility for a full service large property or multiple mid-size full-service properties. Hilton brand experience
required . Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement effective strategies. Results-driven, proactive, and self-motivated with a collaborative leadership style. Solid understanding of revenue management practices, distribution strategies, and performance standards. Experience leading and training teams in revenue management best practices. Proficient in GDS, Extranets, and familiarity with PMS, RMS, GDS, OnQ, Gro, Delphi, Lighthouse and Profit Sword. Benefits
