The Speech-Language Pathology program at Pepperdine University seeks a candidate for Associate Dean for its developing online graduate program - the Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. The Associate Dean collaborates with the Program Director to administer the program, particularly in coordinating the admissions process with the Dean of Enrollment, ensuring course quality, managing the students' onsite immersive learning experiences, and coordinating with college personnel on student affairs. The successful candidate will have an earned terminal degree (academic or clinical doctorate), earned CCC-SLP, 3 years experience working with SLP academic programs, a strong administrative skill set, and demonstrated commitment to student success. Preferred qualifications include an established research agenda or plan (including but not limited to previous publications, grant funding, and/or presentations at conferences) and experience with online teaching, admissions processes, and student mentorship.

The Master's in Speech Language Pathology Program plans to enroll its first cohort of students in Fall 2025 (pending accreditation). Review of candidates will begin immediately and continue on a rolling basis until the position is filled. Regular full-time employment start date is negotiable. The salary for this 12-month appointment will range from $120,000 to $160,000 and reflects what Pepperdine reasonably expects to pay for this faculty appointment. Qualifications

Required Qualifications are:

Earned terminal degree (academic or clinical doctorate) in speech language pathology, communication disorders, or a closely related field Current CCC-SLP and SLP license in the state of California Three or more years of experience workign with SLP academic programs Strong administrative skill set Demonstrated commitment to student success Preferred Qualifications include prior experience in:
