We are currently seeking a FT Database Assistant at The Caring Place Central Office in Miami, FL,
JOB SUMMARY
The
Database Assistant (DA ) reports to the
Assistant Director of Donor Engagement
(ADDE) . This position assists with ensuring that donor requirements are accurately reflected and maintained in the database to support optimal health and functionality. The
DA
plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of our donor outreach and engagement strategies. The
DA
will oversee the maintenance, management, and reporting of our organizational databases. This role is crucial in ensuring that our data infrastructure supports our mission and operational needs effectively.
CORE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ability to adapt and thrive in a collaborative work environment Interacts with supervisor, staff, volunteers, supporters and in-house residents in a pleasant and professional manner Analyze donor data to identify trends and insights that can inform outreach and event planning Oversee the daily operation of our data systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility Perform regular updates, backups, and troubleshooting as needed Monitor and enhance data quality through regular audits and validation processes Generate and analyze reports to support program evaluation, donor relations, and strategic planning Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders. Identify and recommend improvements to existing data systems and processes Provide training and support to staff on data entry, management, and reporting best practices Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and organizational policies Abides by the Mission's Employee Handbook and established procedures Assist with execution of company-sponsored events and outreaches (such as graduations and community events) to support the residents we serve Will lead and/or participate in devotions, prayers, or other ministry activities ex. outreach events Must be in agreement with and sign The Caring Place Statement of Faith Performs other related duties as assigned EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Requires a High School diploma or GED Must have a minimum of one (1) year experience in a non-profit organization or general office setting Proficiency in CRM software, with a preferred knowledge in Blackbaud/Raiser Edge Must be computer literate have experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook) Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with staff, vendors, volunteers, supporters and in-house residents in a professional and courteous manner Must be extremely organized and able to prioritize tasks A high level of accuracy and confidentiality is required Proven experience in radio recording and editing, video recording and editing, and graphic design PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to sit for extended periods, and have the ability to lift and/or pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds Must also be able to see, hear and speak, in order to interact with staff and the general public Must also be able to move around as needed to perform essential job duties PERKS AND BENEFITS
