Description
Position Overview: Communiboost We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Event Specialist to join our team, responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events tailored to meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders. In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and organizational skills while ensuring that each event runs smoothly and exceeds expectations.
Salary Range: $21.00 - $30.25 hourly Location: Akron, OH
Key Responsibilities Plan and execute events from conception to completion, ensuring all aspects align with client expectations. Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and vendor management. Develop and manage event budgets, keeping costs under control while delivering high-quality services. Work closely with clients to define event objectives, themes, and specific requirements for each project. Create detailed event timelines and checklists to ensure all tasks are completed on schedule. Manage on-site event activities, including setup, coordination, and troubleshooting during events. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning and management. Proficiency in project management software and tools to track progress and manage tasks effectively. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients, vendors, and team members. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules. Benefits
