Job Summary:

The Vehicle Inventory Associate I is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate records of all vehicles in the dealership's inventory. This includes overseeing vehicle arrivals, inspections, organization, and documentation, ensuring all vehicles are properly logged, stored, and tracked in the inventory system. The role involves coordinating with various departments to ensure vehicles are available for sale or service, reconciling inventory counts, and ensuring proper documentation for each vehicle.

Essential Functions: Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing vehicles, ensuring all vehicles are correctly logged into the inventory system. Inspect vehicles upon arrival, noting any damages or discrepancies, and ensure that they are properly labeled and stored. Ensure proper display of vehicles on the lot, ensuring proper pricing and signage are up-to-date. Enter vehicle details into the inventory management system, including VIN numbers, make, model, year, and condition. Work closely with the sales, service, and purchasing departments to ensure that vehicles are prepared for display, sales, or servicing as needed. Maintain accurate paperwork for each vehicle, including titles, registrations, and other required documents. Conduct periodic physical counts of the inventory to reconcile with the records in the inventory system. Coordinate the transfer of vehicles between locations, ensuring proper paperwork and record-keeping for each transfer. Ensure that the dealership's vehicle lot is kept organized, safe, and visually appealing. Assist sales team members with locating vehicles on the lot and provide accurate information regarding inventory availability. Adhere to all legal and dealership guidelines regarding vehicle inventory management, including proper documentation and reporting. Maintain satisfactory attendance. Perform other related duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications:

1-2 years of experience in inventory management, vehicle tracking, or a similar role. Valid driver's license and safe driving record; required to have California driver's license within 10 days following date of hire. Ability to lift up 25 pounds. Ability to perform all essential functions of the job description. Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to accurately track vehicle information, verify paperwork, and conduct inventory checks. Strong organizational skills to manage a large inventory of vehicles and ensure proper storage and display. Good verbal and written communication skills for working with the sales team, service department, and customers. Ability to identify and resolve issues related to vehicle discrepancies or inventory management. Ability to prioritize tasks and efficiently manage time in a fast-paced environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Physical Demands:
