Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced
Snowflake Architect
to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of a scalable, secure, and high-performance data platform using Snowflake. This role is critical for enabling enterprise-wide data warehousing, advanced analytics, and real-time processing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: Architect and implement end-to-end data solutions using the Snowflake platform Develop scalable ELT/ETL pipelines and ensure best practices in data modeling and governance Optimize Snowflake environments for cost, performance, and reliability Translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including analysts, developers, and security teams Lead technical engagements and provide strategic architectural guidance to internal and client teams Enforce governance, security, and compliance standards within Snowflake environments Design and manage integration with BI/visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Business Objects) Support ingestion and orchestration using AWS cloud-native services (e.g., S3, Glue, Lambda) Integrate Snowflake with SIEM platforms for real-time monitoring and compliance (e.g., AWS-native SIEM) Requirements Required Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in data architecture or data engineering roles Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake Proven success designing and implementing enterprise-scale data solutions Strong experience in consulting or client-facing roles Deep understanding of modern data architecture and cloud ecosystems (especially AWS) Expertise in Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, and data sharing/security features Experience with data modeling, schema design, and building ELT pipelines Familiarity with integrating Snowflake with SIEM platforms and building secure pipelines for security and audit logs Experience with Teradata-to-Snowflake data migration and using Amazon S3 for intermediate staging
