Job Description:
Client: Banking
Position: DevOps Engineer
Duration: 12 months
Location: Dallas, TX
Payrange: $60-65/hr
Key Responsibilities: Own infrastructure support and DevOps operations for AWS-hosted enterprise platforms Maintain and upgrade EKS clusters, S3, EFS, MSK, VPCs, WAFs, Route53, and related AWS services Drive automation through standardized GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Terraform modules Lead incident management, RCA documentation, and production issue resolution Collaborate with AWS support, incident managers, and client SMEs in real time Mentor and review the work of other DevOps engineers globally Ensure on-call readiness and US-time zone alignment for escalation coverage Technical Skills:
5+ years experience with AWS cloud infrastructure (EKS, S3, VPCs, WAFs, MSK, etc.) 5+ years experience with GitLab (pipelines, runners, merge requests, repo management) 5+ years experience with Terraform (state mgmt, modules, property config, troubleshooting) Strong English communication and consulting skills - Proven ability to lead teams and provide technical oversight in production-grade environments Hands-on experience troubleshooting production workloads in AWS Willingness to work in US timezone and participate in on-call rotation The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, short-term disability insurance, paid parking/public transportation, (paid time , paid sick and safe time , hours of paid vacation time, weeks of paid parental leave, paid holidays annually - AS Applicable)
