Under the general direction of the IT Manager I, the Information Technology Specialist I serves as the primary administrator for DOC's enterprise network storage and backup/restore platforms across on-premises and cloud environments. The incumbent ensures secure, reliable, and cost-effective storage, backup, disaster recovery (DR), and data retention services that meet program needs and statutory/policy requirements.

Working Conditions

This position provides hybrid telework opportunities, with employees required to work in-person in Sacramento at least two days per week at 715 P Street, Sacramento, CA 95814 . Alternative work locations will not be considered.

Candidates who reside outside of the State of California may be admitted to the job interview but must show proof of residence in California prior to being eligible for appointment.
