Under the general direction of the Information Technology Manager I, the Information Technology Specialist I is responsible for advanced business analysis and project management for the most complex application development projects for the Department of Conservation (DOC). The incumbent maintains expertise in business analysis, project management methodologies, Statewide Information Management Manual, State Administrative Manual and control agency guidelines as it relates to Information Technology (IT). Acts as liaison for IT initiatives and projects with internal and external stakeholders. Participates in the development of documentation related to the project approval lifecycle (PAL) and project lifecycle, including tracking and reporting. Base pay range
$6,513.00 - $8,729.00 A $7,163.00 - $9,599.00 B $7,864.00 - $10,537.00 C New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable. This position is subject to the Departments Conflict of Interest Code.
This position is contingent on budget approval. Job Description and Duties
In accordance with CCR 249.3, this job control may be used to fill subsequent vacancies. Under the general direction of the Information Technology Manager I, the Information Technology Specialist I is responsible for advanced business analysis and project management for the most complex application development projects for the Department of Conservation (DOC). The incumbent maintains expertise in business analysis, project management methodologies, Statewide Information Management Manual, State Administrative Manual and control agency guidelines as it relates to Information Technology (IT). Acts as liaison for IT initiatives and projects with internal and external stakeholders. Participates in the development of documentation related to the project approval lifecycle (PAL) and project lifecycle, including tracking and reporting.
