Assembling folders for events/programs Assembling name tags/badges for events/programs Assisting with various events/programs - passing out programs, swag, supplies... Assisting with check-in of guests Assembling swag bags Administrative and Office Support
Operating office equipment including printers and copiers Setting up and maintaining files Runner - picking up or distributing packages, books...around campus Fill out forms such as Travel Itinerary for VP of DEI Formatting and proofing documents Providing research on special projects, policies, swag, travel info, conferences, etc. Inventory and Supplies Management
Tracking swag inventory Organizing swag and supply cabinets
Qualifications
Education Requirements: In order to apply for this position, you must be a current Harper College student, enrolled in at least six credits per semester. You must remain enrolled in courses to be eligible for the position.
Students have an intermediate level expertise/experience with the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Experience Requirements: being flexible throughout the day, and interacting with large groups. They should be able to demonstrate strong communication skills, creativity, initiative, interpersonal skills, time management skills, organization, professionalism, active participation, the ability to handle confidential information. The student aide should have experience and/or comfort interacting with individuals of different identities including race, gender, sexual orientation, faith, veterans, etc.
Students have an intermediate level expertise/experience with the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
