JOB PURPOSE
The Commissioning Agent is responsible for every aspect of the commissioning processes through the concept, design, engineering, construction, integration, functional testing and turnover, which validates that the facilities systems meet the expectations of the Owner.
RESPONSIBILITIES Develop functional testing and process and procedures.
Develop system training for Owner to operate and maintain their facilities.
Compile, archive and distribute new equipment documentation and sequence of operations.
Record training and service-related videos of processes as needed for training purposes.
Work with respective stakeholders in continuously improving, measuring and validating processes.
Proactively identify and resolve project design, quality, or operational limitation discrepancies which conflict with design intent or owner requirement.
Identify and implement energy conservation and system optimization measures.
Monitor construction progress and advise on planned vs. actual percent completion.
Oversee or perform complete functional testing procedures as required to verify system operations and meet complete design intent and owner requirements.
Requires travel up to 75%.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field or 10+ years' experience in supermarket refrigeration
Licensed Journeyman and previous experience as a refrigeration technician
Proven knowledge of refrigeration controls, Danfoss and CPC (programming, integration and troubleshooting)
Strong mechanical/electrical/plumbing/process background with a robust skill set with controls
Demonstrated experience in performing commissioning/qualification/validation activities
Demonstrated ability to perform design and constructability reviews and risk assessments
Ability to read and understand engineering & architectural prints
Ability to quickly grasp and adapt to new concepts and technologies
Excellent attention to detail
Strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent analytical skills
Initiative and motivated
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Pay Information: $85,000.00+
