POSITION OVERVIEW:

Building Custodian II, 2nd Shift (Full Time) - Floater

Under the direction of the Head Custodian, the selected candidate will clean, empty trash, dust, mop, disinfect, wash, polish, wipe, paint, remove/shovel snow, receive/stock supplies, strip/wax floors, use lifting/moving equipment, operate machinery, make deliveries, replace light bulbs, work from ladders, report hazards, secure the building and perform other custodial tasks as trained and assigned.

The selected candidate will have the knowledge, skill and abilities highlighted in the job description as well as a high school diploma or GED. The selected candidate will be required to perform manual labor including, but not limited to, lifting a minimum of 50 lbs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, twisting, bending, climbing and repetitive motion. Successful candidate will have to pass a post-offer physical.

WORK HOURS:

Monday-Friday, 2:30-11:00 PM.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: English language proficiency required. Multilingual proficiency preferred. CREDENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Year-round position Full time, 1.0 FTE Permanent Overtime eligible Covered under the BASE contract (see 2023-2026 CBA here) Wage range: $19.53-$23.54 (based on experience, as outlined in CBA) Eligible for benefits as outlined here
