Position Summary:

The Pricing Manager plays a critical role in maximizing profitability and market competitiveness across our industrial product portfolio. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing pricing strategies that account for manufacturing cost drivers, global tariffs, competitive pressures, and channel dynamics. The ideal candidate is both analytical and strategic, with a deep understanding of cost structures, industrial market behavior, and the sales process in a B2B environment.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage cost-based and value-based pricing strategies across standard and configured industrial products. Maintain pricing models that account for raw material costs, tariffs, freight, and labor inputs to ensure margin consistency. Analyze pricing performance by product line, customer segment, and channel partner to identify margin opportunities and leakage. Establish price and margin KPIs and associated targets. Deliver those KPIs to business stakeholders through dashboards and email reporting. Evaluate and evolve tools used in analytics and reporting. This would include:

Databases and data warehousing for required fact base. Analytical tools, other than Excel (e.g., SQL, R, Python, Alteryx, KNIME, PROS, Vendavo, PriceFX, etc.) Visualization and dashboards (e.g., Power BI)

Support product launches with price positioning, list price recommendations, and discount structures tailored for distributors, OEMs, and direct accounts. Collaborate with product management, sales, and finance teams to ensure pricing supports both strategic and tactical business goals. Monitor market and competitor pricing trends through research, feedback from the field, and distributor input. Lead periodic pricing reviews and adjustments based on cost fluctuations, tariff changes, and economic conditions. Own the pricing governance process, including deal review, exception approvals, and escalation procedures. Ensure pricing data integrity in ERP systems and support digital pricing tools used by sales and customer service. Support strategic planning and budgeting processes with pricing-related insights and forecasting. Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, product management, or sales operations-preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of cost structures in industrial manufacturing (e.g., bill of materials, sourcing costs, tariffs, freight). Proficient in Excel and data analysis tools; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, IFS, Oracle, Infor) and CRM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce). Solid business acumen with the ability to balance margin optimization and market competitiveness. Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially when working across functional teams and with sales/distribution partners. Preferred Qualifications:

MBA or advanced degree is a plus. Experience supporting a channel sales model with authorized distributors, OEMs, and reps. Working knowledge of global trade/tariff issues and how they affect landed cost and pricing strategy. Experience pricing configured or engineered-to-order (ETO) products.
