Job Description: Assist with the design, review, and implementation of Oracle OCI services and solution offerings.
The position will work with customer agencies, managed cloud suppliers, as well as internal agency teams to ensure that architectures and environments provide efficient, effective, secure, and compliant solutions based on best practices and well-architected frameworks. Documented experience with cloud architecture, operations, and management in a public cloud environment-specifically Oracle's OCI. Experience performing reviews of proposed changes & projects relative to the security of an IT environment. At least 8 years of forward-thinking IT experience and 3 years of hands-on cloud technology experience (preferably with OCI). Excellent communication and presentation skills required. Experience with implementing, migrating, or managing operating systems/applications in an enterprise cloud computing environment. Knowledgeable of cloud networking architectures utilizing virtual networks, VPN, Subnets, network security groups, load balancers, etc. Thorough understanding of customer priorities and the business criticality of platforms, applications, and services. Cloud certifications preferred within the Oracle OCI cloud environment. Required / Desired Skills
Familiar with Cloud Native architecture paradigms, patterns, and security methodologies -
Required Experience designing solutions within and working with the Oracle OCI environment -
Required Oracle OCI specific certifications (Cloud Ops, Architecture, Security, etc.) -
Required Experience working with cloud reference models, creating diagrams, and other design documentation -
Required Experience with implementing, migrating, or managing operating systems/applications in an enterprise cloud computing environment -
Required Knowledgeable of cloud networking architectures utilizing virtual networks, VPN, Subnets, network security groups, load balancers, etc. -
Required Experience performing reviews of proposed changes & projects relative to the security and controls of an IT environment -
Required Excellent communication and presentation skills for addressing customer business needs -
Required Ability to review technical solutions for technical and fiscal accuracy -
Required Skilled in oral and written communication as it pertains to technical information -
Required Experience working with security and regulatory frameworks such as NIST, PCI, CJIS, FedRAMP, etc. -
Required Experience working with cloud native technologies such as containers, serverless workloads, functions, database as a service, etc. -
Required Able to work with minimal supervision and under specific deadlines -
Required College degree in a related field or equivalent experience -
Required Experience with scripting and build tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Terraform -
Required Experience working with configuration management and monitoring tools such as Fleet Application Management, Puppet, OCI Monitoring, Splunk, etc. -
