TechnoSmarts has a Contract Sr. OCI Cloud Services Architect position available. This is a 10 month contract with potential for extension. The client has specifically stated, "Local Candidates only." Responsibilities
Assist with the design, review, and implementation of Oracle OCI services and solution offerings. Work with customer agencies, managed cloud suppliers, and internal teams to ensure architectures and environments provide efficient, effective, secure, and compliant solutions based on best practices and well-architected frameworks. Document experience with cloud architecture, operations and management in a public cloud environment specifically Oracles OCI. Review proposed changes and projects relative to the security of an IT environment. Contribute to cloud design and implementation with at least 8 years of forward-thinking IT experience and 3 years of hands-on cloud technology experience (preferably with OCI). Excellent communication and presentation skills are required. Experience implementing, migrating or managing operating systems/applications in an enterprise cloud computing environment. College degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Knowledge of cloud networking architectures (virtual networks, VPN, subnets, network security groups, load balancers, etc.). Understand customer priorities and the business criticality of platforms, applications and services. Cloud certifications in the Oracle OCI environment are preferred. Familiar with cloud-native architecture paradigms, patterns and security methodologies. Qualifications
Experience designing solutions within and working with the Oracle OCI environment 8 years Experience with implementing, migrating or managing operating systems/applications in an enterprise cloud computing environment 8 years Knowledgeable of cloud networking architectures (virtual networks, VPN, subnets, network security groups, load balancers, etc.) 8 years Experience performing reviews of proposed changes & projects relative to the security and controls of an IT environment 8 years Excellent communication and presentation skills for addressing customer business needs 8 years Ability to review technical solutions for technical and fiscal accuracy 8 years Skilled in oral and written communication as it pertains to technical information 8 years Experience with security and regulatory frameworks such as NIST, PCI, CJIS, FedRAMP, etc. 8 years Experience with cloud-native technologies such as containers, serverless workloads, functions, database as a service, etc. 8 years Able to work with minimal supervision and under specific deadlines 8 years College degree in a related field or equivalent experience 4 years Experience with scripting and build tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Terraform 8 years Experience with configuration management and monitoring tools such as Fleet Application Management, Puppet, OCI Monitoring, Splunk, etc. 8 years Location
