Standard business hours Job Summary: The

Material Handler

is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and tracking of materials throughout the supply chain. This role supports shipping and receiving operations to ensure products are available when needed and that all warehouse processes are performed with accuracy, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive and inspect incoming materials for correct quantities, quality, and any damage. Organize and store materials in designated locations with proper labeling. Transport materials between production, storage areas, loading docks, and manufacturing facilities using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Maintain accurate inventory records, including labeling, location tracking, and shortage reporting. Pick and pack materials for orders or production requirements. Safely load and unload inventory from various locations. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in compliance with safety procedures and guidelines. Required Experience:

Experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or related field. Nice-to-Have Experience:

Prior experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment. Required Skills:

Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy items. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks). Effective communication and teamwork skills. Basic computer skills for inventory management systems. Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with shipping/receiving documentation. Experience with safety compliance in warehouse operations. Additional Skills from Original Description:
