Project Accountant / A&E Accountant

Join our client as a Project Accountant and play a key role in the success of complex architecture and engineering projects. In this role, you'll own the financial side of projects from setup through completion-ensuring billing schedules, invoices, and job cost tracking run smoothly while partnering closely with project managers and leadership. Compensation
  • $60,000-$70,000, depending on experience
What You'll Be Doing
  • Set up and maintain billing schedules in collaboration with project managers
  • Draft and submit invoices to clients in a timely, accurate manner
  • Review and record consultant, engineering, and vendor invoices to appropriate jobs
  • Track job costs and ensure alignment with project budgets
  • Process client payments and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial data integrity
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes
What You'll Need to be Considered
  • 3- 10 years of Project accounting experience in the architecture, engineering, or construction industry
  • Familiarity with job cost accounting and project billing
  • Proficiency with Sage 50, QuickBooks, or Deltek (preferred)
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities
