A client in the Chicagoland area is looking for 2 desktop support technicians (1 in each Evanston, one in the western suburbs). The u may come to the offices or will call the desktop team to see if they can fix the issue over the phone. And if there are issues than they will need to go meet the customer onsite at their desk. They have a helpdesk that creates tickets and those tickets then get escalated to EUC (this team) - they will be joining a team of 12 for Evanston hospital or 14 for Edward hospital. On average they will be closing 15-20 tickets a day. Their tickets may involve break/fix work, software installs, deployments, imaging - and then as needed they may be doing inventory and other project related work as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

Windows 10/Windows 11 experience (mid-ground moving to 11 at the moment) Attention to detail - building assets into ServiceNow Imaging experience - SCCM preferred Deployment experience - working with end u /customer facing Strong Customer Service skills Will need to be able to lift 20 lbs (monitors, thin clients) as well as need to use some power tools to get screws off. Break/Fix Experience Software Installs

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience installing/enabling encryption
