Opsource Staffing of Gaffney has partnered with a local Commercial Flooring Provider in the Jonesville, SC area. We are currently recruiting for Industrial Maintenance candidates. Pay depends on experience. The company is willing to train.
Key responsibilities of an Industrial Maintenance Technician include:
Troubleshooting and Repair:
Identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues in machinery. Preventive Maintenance:
Performing regular maintenance tasks like lubrication, cleaning, and adjustments to prevent breakdowns. Equipment Inspection:
Regularly inspecting machinery and equipment for wear, damage, or potential problems. Repair and Replacement:
Repairing or replacing broken or malfunctioning parts, components, and systems. Calibration and Testing:
Calibrating and testing equipment to ensure it meets performance specifications. Safety Compliance:
Ensuring all maintenance activities are performed safely and comply with safety regulations. Record Keeping:
Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and parts used. Installation:
Installing new machinery and equipment. Reading Technical Documents:
Interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to understand equipment and controls. Fabrication:
Fabricating replacement parts using machine shop equipment. Skills and qualifications required for this role include:
Technical Skills:
Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills. Problem-Solving:
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues. Communication Skills:
Effective communication to collaborate with team members and report findings. Computer Skills:
Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication. Safety Knowledge:
Familiarity with safety standards and regulations. Experience:
Previous experience in industrial maintenance or a related field. Physical Stamina:
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks. Welding Skills:
