JOB SUMMARY:
The Procurement Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the processing of all supply and service orders, ensuring timely follow-up, and managing inventory levels to support operational needs. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to optimize procurement processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Procurement & Order Management Process purchase orders (POs) for supplies and services in accordance with company policies. Monitor and track open orders, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of any delays or issues. Coordinate with vendors to confirm order accuracy, lead times, and delivery schedules. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in procurement operations. Inventory Management & Analysis
Maintain appropriate inventory levels to meet operational needs while minimizing excess stock. Analyze usage trends and recommend adjustments to reorder points and safety stock levels. Conduct regular inventory reconciliations and cycle counts to ensure data accuracy. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand and adjust procurement strategies accordingly. Vendor & Supplier Coordination
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply chains. Assist in evaluating vendor performance, identifying risks, and addressing service-level concerns. Support contract negotiations by providing data-driven insights on pricing and supplier performance. Data & Reporting
Utilize Excel and other analytics tools to generate reports on procurement performance, spending trends, and cost-saving opportunities. Monitor key procurement metrics (e.g., order accuracy, fulfillment rates, cost variances) and develop action plans for improvement. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all purchasing activities. Leadership & Process Improvement
Supervise and train procurement staff on best practices and system usage. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in procurement operations. Act as a liaison between procurement, finance, and operations to ensure seamless workflows. General

Associates Degree or equivalent experience in procurement, inventory control, stock control, or warehouse operations is required. Bachelor Degree is preferred. REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in procurement, inventory control, stock control, or warehouse operations is required. One to five years of prior job-related experience is required. One year of supervisory experience in inventory management and stock control is preferred.
