Agile Project Manager - IT Project Management Support
Our client is seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager (APM) to support the IT Office of a museum in delivering approximately 15-20 projects annually. This role will lead planning, coordination, and execution of initiatives using Agile methodologies, collaborating with product owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to achieve high-quality results aligned with organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
• Lead Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, backlog grooming) and ensure consistent delivery.
• Translate business goals and user needs into actionable backlogs; refine and prioritize items for strategic alignment.
• Track progress using Agile tools; provide transparent reporting on project metrics and milestones.
• Identify and resolve impediments; escalate and coordinate resolution of risks and dependencies.
• Coach and mentor teams in Agile principles, Scrum/Kanban practices, and related tools.
• Foster autonomy, accountability, and self-organization within teams.
• Participate in requirements definition, design, integration, and testing.
• Serve as a primary customer interface for IT projects, guiding stakeholders through project scoping and review processes.
• Support technical briefings, internal communications, and documentation of business/technical requirements.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in Agile project management within IT environments.
• Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proficiency with Agile tools (e.g., Trello, Jira) and project tracking metrics.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
