Maintenance Technician

1st shift working Monday-Friday from 648am-320pm
Direct Hire opportunity
As the Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for ensuring that all of the injection molding and auxilliary machines are in good working condition to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
Duties/Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance on molding machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair any issues with Molding machinery and equipment. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed. Maintenance and repair of molding machines and equipment as well as electrical, hydraulic, solid state computer controls, and PLC programming. Repair and troubleshooting of injection molding machines, auxiliary machines, and building maintenance. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Skills/Qualifications
5 or more years' experience in maintenance of thermo plastic injection molding machines. 3 years of demonstrated experience in injection molding or mold setting role. Experience working on 80 to 2200-ton molding machines. Prefer a working knowledge of Van Dorn, Cincinnati, and/or Haitian machines. Strong mechanical and 3-phase electrical skills. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. High school diploma or equivalent Will be subject to pre-employment screening.
