We are seeking a highly analytical hands on and results-driven

Manufacturing Plant Controller

to oversee all financial and accounting activities at our production facility. This role is a key business partner to plant leadership, providing financial insights that drive operational efficiency, cost control, and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and GAAP. Ensure a smooth and successful annual audit by maintaining accurate and well-organized financial records.

• Month-End Close: Lead and manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial statement preparation.

• Cost Management: Analyze production costs, variances, and inventory, providing actionable insights to improve profitability and cost efficiency. Responsible for inventory valuation and standard costing systems.

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Drive the plant's budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with operational goals and identifying cost control opportunities.

• Internal Controls & Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and internal controls to maintain financial integrity and accuracy.

• Collaboration & Support: Partner with plant management to provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making and operational improvements.

• Team Leadership: Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including direct reports, to foster a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring high performance and alignment with organizational goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting. CPA is a plus.

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, 3+ yrs in an accounting leadership position

• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, job costing, and variance analysis.

• Proficiency in ERP systems, Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.

• Skilled in account reconciliation, cost analysis, and financial reporting.

• Proven ability to drive change and process improvements through cross-functional collaboration.

• Hands-on approach with a keen interest in the manufacturing process and collaboration with production teams.
