Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Applications Analyst II to support and enhance clinical systems with a focus on Epic Cupid or related Epic applications. Prior experience or certification in Epic Cupid and familiarity with Cardiology workflows are highly preferred. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between clinical/business needs and IT solutions by identifying opportunities to improve processes and advising on the implementation of technology aligned with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring alignment of technology with clinical and operational needs. Advise customers on the functionality, cost, benefits, and implementation requirements of healthcare IT systems. Analyze business processes and recommend system enhancements or reengineering opportunities. Lead or contribute to the planning, development, testing, and deployment of IT solutions, particularly in clinical environments. Maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors. Assist in organizing, planning, and executing projects from vision through implementation. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for clinical applications, especially Epic Cupid or related Epic modules. Translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language. Document workflows, business requirements, and technical specifications. Stay current with new technologies and industry best practices to identify future opportunities for innovation.
Required Qualifications Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in one of the following areas: Business systems analysis across multiple hardware/software platforms, or Business unit role involving close collaboration with IT for system development/implementation.
Preferred Qualifications (if any) B achelor’s degree in a related field. Certification or prior experience with Epic Cupid or another Epic application. Knowledge of Cardiology workflows or clinical systems. Experience in business process re-engineering or process improvement. Project leadership experience involving internal teams, vendors, and contractors. Understanding of HL7 messaging standards. Experience applying technology strategically to enhance business operations.
Certifications (if any) Epic Certification: Successful completion of Epic’s certification program must be obtained within 6 weeks of completing the final Epic training class (mandatory upon hire). Epic Cupid Certification (Preferred or in progress).
